A poster shared on TikTok by the account AJIRAKENYA claims that Brookside Dairy Kenya is hiring “Casual Employees” in Nairobi. The poster lists 9 general duties and promises a basic net salary of KSh 26,300 per month with an advance salary option. Interested job seekers are instructed to apply via a mobile number/WhatsApp (0104824990), a Gmail address (ajirakenyadeca@gmail.com), or a listed website domain
(www.ajirakenyajobvacancies.go.ke).
Upon initiating contact via WhatsApp, the “recruiter” requests that personal documents (CV, ID, Medical letter, and passport photo) be sent to a Gmail address (Jiraefax@gmail.com). The recruiter also states that the job is “guaranteed to start immediately tomorrow morning”
The recruiter insists that a “Medical Letter” is mandatory for employment. When the applicant states they do not have one, the recruiter immediately offers a shortcut: “You can secure one via our premises.” The “recruiter” then demands an upfront payment of KSh 570, directing the applicant to send the money via Office Till Number: 9335778. To prevent the applicant from seeking external verification, they add“Do not switch off your phone after making your payments since we only call once.”
Upon asking if KSh 300 was acceptable instead of the full amount, the “recruiter” immediately compromised, replying: “Okay no problem. Make your payments via Till No. 9335778.” > Furthermore, academic qualifications were dismissed as “Not Mandatory.”

Brookside Dairy Limited is a private dairy processing company headquartered in Ruiru, Kenya, and stands as the largest milk processor in the East African Community.
