Images of this car have widely been shared in various Whatsapp groups claiming to have been taken during a street war between Palestinians and Israelis.
With such tension as is the case right now in the Middle East, misinformation is expected to find its way.
Background
May 10, 2021 marked the third day since Israel stormed the Al-Aqsa mosque, injuring hundreds of Palestinian worshippers. This sparked an escalation between Israel and Hamas, a Palestinian Islamic fundamentalist movement that rules the Gaza Strip.
Israel is reported to have blasted Hamas security installations, killing senior military figures, among them, Gaza City brigade commander, Bassem Issa. It also destroyed a 13-storey building in Gaza, having warned residents to evacuate it. Palestinian militants fired missiles targeting Tel Aviv in retaliation to the attack from Israel.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health has so far reported 83 deaths while 487 were wounded from the Israeli airstrikes.
