This digital card has been shared by several users here, here, here and here quoting Jonathan Bii aka ‘Koti Moja’ who is a gubernatorial candidate for Uasin Gishu County.
Background
Jonathan Bii is running for governor of Uasin Gishu under a United Democratic Alliance (UDA) ticket after winning the party primaries on April 15, 2022.
Kiprop Bundotich (Buzeki) who is also contesting in the upcoming elections has repeatedly accused the outgoing governor Jackson Mandago of ‘training militia’ to wreak havoc during election time. In a television debate on June 3, 2022, Buzeki extended those allegations and accused Jonathan Bii of violent threatening behavior against political rivals. Jonathan Bii vehemently denied those accusations terming them as ‘heresy’.
Verification
The digital card bears the Kenyans.co.ke logo and copies the graphics and style of the news website. However, it has not been shared on the media’s Facebook, Twitter or Instagram official pages. Neither has it been published by any credible media house.
