Posts shared here, here and here on Facebook containing claim to supposedly show at a new grilled meat joint supposedly located in Eldoret, Kenya. “The businessman said he imported the grill from China for around 200k,” a post on Twitter alleges.

A reverse image search reveals that the image was taken in The Philippines as shared here on Facebook on February 27, 2023. It was posted by one Vincent Levi Bayona Doletin who according to his Facebook profile works at a funeral home based in North Cotabato, The Philippines. Speaking to Coconuts Manila, Vincent Levi said that the grill is for his personal use and was inspired by the coffin dance meme which went viral in 2020.
Verdict
Claims that the coffin grill is used at a joint in Eldoret are FALSE.
